who has new albums out today? ariel pink’s haunted graffiti does! the darkness does! yeasayer does! that guy from the xfactor that lost to the prepubescent teens that now rule the free world aiden grimshaw does, but no one gives a hoot. now i’ll pick one and post a picture with a fair many a exclamation points that start to turn into ones of joy.

okay, so it was just a dream. but in the dream I went to see her perform at an old-folks home- in a clinical looking living room with an overpowering sent of musty slippers and purell hand sanitizer. i took my seat in one of those medical chairs that only allow for 90º sitting and waited for grimes to take the, err…other stale sofa. She came, but in the form of a hobbling grandpa with a macbook. He (she) was essentially struggling to stand while opening and closing the laptop like an accordion to play ‘sagrad’ off halfaxa while it was certainly claire boucher’s voice coming from between grandpa’s false teeth.
